⚠️ Important: Deleting your account is permanent and cannot be undone. All your data will be permanently removed from our servers.

How to Request Account Deletion

To delete your FinWise account and all associated data, please follow these steps:

  1. Send an email to yvesrutembeza@gmail.com with the subject line: "Request to Delete My FinWise Account"
  2. Include your account email address (the email you used to register for FinWise)
  3. Confirm your request by stating: "I confirm that I want to permanently delete my FinWise account and all associated data"
  4. Wait for confirmation - We will process your request within 7 business days
  5. You will receive confirmation once your account and data have been permanently deleted

What Data Will Be Deleted

When you delete your FinWise account, the following data will be permanently removed:

Data Retention Period

Account deletion processing time: Up to 7 business days

Data retention after deletion request: Your data will be permanently deleted within 30 days of your deletion request, except where we are required to retain it for legal purposes (such as tax records, if applicable).

Backup data: Any backup copies of your data will be deleted within 90 days of your account deletion request.

Alternative: Delete Individual Data

If you don't want to delete your entire account, you can:
